It was a day filled with laughter, learning, and love at Yatim Mandiri Orphanage in Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, as LearningRoom—an innovative English learning platform created by PT 8 Elements, dedicated to providing quality education—celebrated its first anniversary with the children.

The purpose of the event was simple yet powerful – to support the education of orphans by giving them access to interactive and fun English language learning materials. The day began with the orphans eagerly gathering in the common room, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. LearningRoom had prepared a variety of interactive activities and games to engage the children in learning the English language. From word puzzles and memory games to role-playing and charades, the children were actively participating and having a blast. The teams from LearningRoom were patient and encouraging, making sure each child had a chance to learn and have fun.

"Language is a crucial skill that can open many doors for these children, and we want to provide them with the tools to succeed."

The impact of the event was evident in the children's faces as they eagerly learned new words and phrases in English. For some, it was their first exposure to the language, and they were eager to absorb as much as they could. The event not only provided them with a fun day but also sparked their curiosity and motivation to learn.

The head of Yatim Mandiri Orphanage, Ustaz Ade Ifan Maulana, expressed his gratitude to LearningRoom for their continuous support in helping the orphans. "Education is essential for these children, and we are thankful for organizations like LearningRoom who make it possible for them to learn and have fun at the same time," he said.

LearningRoom has made a commitment to continue supporting education for these children. Their future plans include providing access to more learning materials and resources, as well as organizing more events and workshops to help the orphans develop essential skills.

"We believe that education is the main provision for children's futures. By providing innovative digital learning media, we hope that children at the Yatim Mandiri Orphanage can understand English more easily and become more confident in learning," said Avinda Akil, Head of Business at LearningRoom.

"I'm really happy! Learning feels like playing a game, making it more exciting and less boring," said Gozali (10) enthusiastically.

As a form of ongoing support, LearningRoom plans to expand this social program to more orphanages and schools in need. "We want to invite more parties, including the private sector and also related governments, to work together to help create a brighter future for children through education," added Avinda.
