LearningRoom successfully hosted the second edition of the LearningRoom English Competition (LEC Vol.2), an online event that continues to strengthen English literacy among elementary and junior high school students across Indonesia.
With the theme “Sharpen Your Talent to Achieve Excellence!”, the competition went beyond testing English skills. It showcased how students from diverse regions of Indonesia can confidently demonstrate their abilities, proving that with the right access to technology and support, young learners are ready to compete and succeed at the national level.

Competition Stages and Format
The journey began with the Learning Together with LearningRoom Campaign (July 15–August 3, 2025), where students actively studied on the LearningRoom platform, earned points, and climbed the leaderboard.
From this campaign, the 20 top finalists (10 elementary and 10 junior high school students) advanced to the grand finals, which were held virtually via Zoom on August 8, 2025.
The finals consisted of two sessions:
- Elementary School: 2:00 – 3:30 PM WIB
- Junior High School: 4:00 – 5:30 PM WIB

Each student faced three rounds of challenges:
- Round 1: Interactive quiz (vocabulary, grammar, listening)
- Round 2: Crossword puzzle & listening activity
- Round 3: Speaking challenge to test creativity and confidence
To maintain a supportive and engaging atmosphere, the event also included ice-breaking sessions, ensuring students could enjoy the experience while competing.

Revy Maghriza, Community & Event Marketing Lead at LearningRoom, highlighted the impact of the program:
"Seeing regional students speak English fluently and with confidence proves that the right opportunities and support can open doors to greater achievements," said Revy, on their official release.
The competition celebrated not only the champions but also recognized active participation and community spirit among students and schools.
