To strengthen the role of technology in education, 74 English teachers from junior high schools across Central Lombok took part in the English Literacy Enhancement Program. The event, held at SMPN 1 Praya, was designed to provide training and technical guidance for teachers in adopting LearningRoom, a digital platform for English learning.

This initiative, supported by the Central Lombok Department of Education and Culture in collaboration with LearningRoom, will benefit 2,065 students across the region who will gain access to the platform for the next two years.

Digital Learning as a Foundation for Indonesia Emas 2045

The program was officially opened by Drs. H. Lalu Idham Halid, M.Pd., Head of the Central Lombok Department of Education and Culture, who highlighted the importance of accelerating digital transformation in education.

“One of President Prabowo’s Hasta Cita is accelerating digitalization, and education must take the lead. We need to prepare the younger generation to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045, and digital learning platforms like LearningRoom are one of the keys,” he said.

Participants included English teachers from both public and private schools, as well as several principals eager to explore how digital platforms can transform classroom learning.

LearningRoom: Making English Learning Interactive and Engaging

LearningRoom is an innovative digital platform designed for elementary and junior high school students to learn English in a way that is interactive, adaptive, and fun. Its content aligns with the national curriculum and combines animated videos, adaptive practice questions, and gamified challenges to make English literacy more engaging.

During the training, the LearningRoom team which represented by M. Zidny Fadlan (Senior B2G Sales Manager & Legal Advisor) and Alma Grace (B2G Sales Associate) guided teachers through practical sessions on how to integrate the platform into their classrooms.

“Our platform only comes to life through the role of teachers as facilitators and the main pillars of education. This training is an important first step to help teachers in Central Lombok feel confident in using LearningRoom to support their students,” Alma explained.

A Two-Year Commitment for 2,065 Students

With this program underway, 2,065 junior high school students in Central Lombok will gain free access to LearningRoom for the next two years. Teachers who have received the training will serve as facilitators, ensuring students receive structured guidance as they explore the platform.

M. Zidny Fadlan, representing LearningRoom, emphasized the platform’s long-term commitment:

“We are not just providing access. We are committed to working hand in hand with teachers and schools for the next two years. Our goal is to make sure LearningRoom is effectively implemented and delivers a real impact on improving English literacy among junior high school students in Central Lombok,” Zidny said.

Towards Inclusive Digital Education

By introducing LearningRoom to 2,065 students and 74 English teachers in Central Lombok, this initiative is expected to serve as a model for equal access to digital learning in the region.

Through collaboration between local government, schools, and educational technology providers, LearningRoom is committed to supporting Indonesia’s education system with digital solutions that are effective, accessible, and enjoyable by paving the way for students to thrive in the 21st century and beyond.
